Niclas Engelin
Niclas Engelin (born December 27, 1972 ) is a Swedish guitarist . He is a member of the metal bands Engel and In Flames and previously played with Sarcazm , Gardenian and Passenger .
Career
Engelin gained his first experience as a musician with the thrash metal band Sarcazm, with whom he released their only album Breath, Shit, Excist ... in 1993. After a short interlude with the band Idiots Rule , Engelin founded the band Passenger in 1995 together with the drummer Patrik J. Sten. After a few demos , the group's only album to date was released in 2003. In 1996 Engelin joined the band Gardenian , which released three albums until they broke up in 2004.
In 2002 Engelin founded the band Engel, which was named after his nickname . He released two studio albums with Engel. In the spring of 2011, Engelin became a permanent member of In Flames, after being a permanent member from 1997 to 1998 and then helping out several times as a live guitarist.
