Ernst Mader

Ernst Mader (born January 4, 1968 in Vienna ) is a former Austrian football player.

He played for the (then) Bundesliga clubs FK Austria Wien , First Vienna FC 1894 , VfB Mödling and SV Gerasdorf , among others . From summer 2004 to winter 2006 he played for Rennweger SV 1901 . There he was voted the best player of the season in the 2004/2005 season. He played 24 of 30 games (15 goals) and was undefeated champion in the Oberliga A (5th division of Austria).

During this time, Ernst Mader also played in the Vienna City League with his team for promotion to the Regionalliga Ost .

Since the winter of 2006, Ernst Mader has been a coach at the Lower Austrian club SC Mannsdorf (1st class north), where he occasionally plays himself.

In 1993 Mader, who was under contract with Admira Wacker Mödling at the time, was voted the best player in the Vienna Stadthallenturnier . In 1994 he played in the Austrian All-Star-Team together with Franz Wohlfahrt , Peter Schöttel , Peter Stöger and Thomas Flögel at several charity tournaments.
