Ernst Poundel

Ernst Pfündel (born February 14, 1938 ) is a former German basketball referee .

Life

The  pound from Magdeburg was used as referee by the world basketball association FIBA . Furthermore, after the end of the German Democratic Republic , he worked as a functionary at the Basketball Association of Saxony-Anhalt and from 1990 to 2000 he held the post of lawyer. In 2009, Pfündel was honored for his voluntary function as part of the “Teamwork” campaign of the German Basketball Association .
