Ernst Pickardt
Ernst Pickardt (born August 1, 1876 in Berlin ; † 1931 there ) was a German portrait, landscape and flower painter, graphic artist and illustrator.
Ernst Pickardt came from a middle-class Jewish family. He first studied medicine. After the aborted medical studies, under the advice of the artist Paul Meyerheim , he then studied painting at the Royal Prussian Academy of Arts under Max Körner .
After completing his studies, Pickardt went on study trips to France , Italy and England .
Ernst Pickardt was a member of the Free Association of Graphic Artists in Berlin.
