Ernst Posch
Ernst Posch (born April 4, 1955 in Graz ) is an Austrian painter.
Life
Ernst Posch is a self-taught artist . He has been living and working as a freelance artist in Luising-Heiligenbrunn in southern Burgenland since January 2015 .
In 1980 Ernst Posch began his artistic career in which he worked together with the Graz-based painter Karl Josef Kiss from Ennstal. In 1981 Posch opened his first solo exhibition at the Schillerhof Gallery in Graz. In 1983 he joined the Künstlerbund Graz . From 1986 to 1994 he was a member of the board and was most recently vice-president. In 1989 he took over the management of the "Open Workshop" in the Steiermarkhof Graz, where he still holds courses today. In 1993 the exhibition "Dance of Death" followed together with the sculptor and painter Fred Höfler at the Josef Krainer Academy in Graz.
Posch paints pictures with oil or tempera on linen or glass , watercolors , gouaches , tempera as well as collages or works in mixed media on paper and linen.
