Ernst Reinhold Kerber

Ernst Reinhold Kerber (born April 6, 1930 in Baden , Lower Austria ; † July 4, 1975 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

After attending primary school in Vienna and grammar school in Baden, Kerber became a volunteer in his father's company, which produced animal feed . In 1952, only 22 years old, Kerber took over the company. Due to his job, Kerber was later elected deputy chairman of the Association of the Austrian Feed Industry.

Kerber, ÖVP member, was also a member of the Austrian Business Association . As such, he also sat on the board of the regional management for Lower Austria.

Kerber held his first political mandate from 1965, when he was elected to the municipal council of Pottendorf . He was a councilor for seven years until 1972. At the same time, he was a member of the Federal Council in Vienna from November 1969 to June 1970 .
