Ernst Rothenbacher

Ernst Roth Bacher (* 25. August 1907 in Sigmaringen ; † 10. September 1980 ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Life

Ernst Rothenbacher was born on August 25, 1907 in Sigmaringen. He studied law and economics at the University of Munich . In 1927 he became a member of the Corps Hercynia Munich. From 1930 to 1939 he worked as a businessman in Argentina, France, England and Switzerland. From 1940 to 1945 there followed military service and imprisonment. After the end of the Second World War he was appointed to the government council on July 15, 1945 by the "President of Hohenzollern - Settlement Office" . On December 20, 1945 he was appointed provisional district administrator for the Sigmaringen district . For the time of the French occupation Rothbacher was on 30 August 1946, the Board of the Provisional Government of the "State Secretariat for French-occupied territory Württemberg and Hohenzollern" in Tübingen district administrator appointed, citing as a civil servant for life. In 1948 there was an anonymous defamation letter to the Sigmaringer district administrator Rothenbacher. After the district regulations for the state of Baden-Württemberg of October 10, 1955, which came into force on April 1, 1956, had declared the district administrators to be officials of the district (temporary electoral officers), the district council spoke accordingly on April 25, 1956 Section 54 of the district regulations for the previous post holder to remain as district administrator. At the same time he was appointed as a district official to the district administrator with a term of office of twelve years (April 24, 1968). Rothenbacher retired on April 30, 1967. He died on September 10, 1980 in Sigmaringen.
