Ernst Srock

Ernst Srock (born March 16, 1916 in Danzig ; † December 12, 1998 in Celle ) was a German educator and politician ( GB / BHE ).

Life and work

After attending school, Srock worked as a teacher. He was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1939 and then took part in the Second World War as a soldier until 1945 . At the end of the war he was taken prisoner by the United States, from which he was released in 1945.

After his release from captivity, Srock moved to West Germany as an expellee and settled in Lower Saxony . Here he worked again as a teacher from November 1945.

Political party

Srock had been the district chairman of the Association of Expelled Germans (BvD) in Celle since 1948 . In 1950 he took part in the founding of the GB / BHE association in Celle-Land and was elected district and district chairman of the party that same year.

MP

Srock was elected to the local council and the district council of the Celle district in 1948 . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1957. He was drawn into parliament via the state list of the GB / BHE Lower Saxony .

Public offices

Srock had been deputy district administrator for the Celle district since November 1958.
