Ernst Waiblinger

Ernst Waiblinger (born May 25, 1915 in Augsburg ; † October 8, 1995 in Lüneburg ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After leaving school, Ernst Waiblinger worked as a cashier from 1929 to 1934. After that he served in Lüneburg as an active soldier. In the course of the Second World War he suffered a serious injury in 1944, as a result of which he remained in the hospital until the end of the war . From 1945 he was employed in the administration of the city of Lüneburg, in 1951 he was elected chairman of the works council. He was very committed to the care of returnees and the severely disabled, to social housing and social welfare .

From July 7, 1956 to May 5, 1959, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (3rd electoral period), and was a member of the SPD parliamentary group until December 1, 1957.
