Ernst Weber (District Administrator)
Karl Julius Gustav Ernst Weber (born December 12, 1872 in Quedlinburg ; † 1937 ) was a German administrative lawyer and from 1907 to 1917 district administrator of the Wehlau district .
Life
Weber was a son of the land and factory owner Gustav Weber in Halberstadt and his wife Luise, née. Mountains. He attended the cathedral grammar school in Halberstadt from 1879 to 1891 and then studied law in Geneva , Tübingen and Halle / Saale . In Tübingen he became a member of the Corps Suevia . After his legal traineeship (1895) he served as a one-year volunteer in the Thuringian Hussar Regiment No. 12 . He was a trainee lawyer in Egeln, Graefenhainichen, Weißenfels, Halberstadt and Berlin. In 1898 he switched to general administration and became a government trainee in Opole and Ratibor, in 1901 in Burgdorf as a government assessor and in Arnsberg in 1904 . From 1907 to 1917 Weber was district administrator of the Wehlau district. In 1917 he became a secret finance councilor and lecturer in the Prussian Ministry of Finance. From 1920 he was a senior administrative judge in Berlin.
