Ernst Wegner (District Administrator)

Ernst Wegner (born August 1, 1868 in Stolp , Pomerania , † September 16, 1926 in Halberstadt ) was a German administrative officer .

Life

Ernst Wegner studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1889 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1896 to 1897 he completed the government traineeship with the government in Königsberg and passed the government assessor examination in 1897. From 1904 to 1918 he was district administrator of the Kehdingen district . In 1918 he became district administrator of the Halberstadt district . He held the office until his death in 1926.
