Ernst Weidenbusch

Ernst Weidenbusch (born July 19, 1963 in Munich ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1982, he studied law , which he completed in 1994 with the second state examination. After that he settled down as a lawyer. The law firm "Weidenbusch Deutlmoser" is based in Munich. Ernst Weidenbusch is u. a. Legal counsel of the Bavarian Lotto-Toto Association.

Ernst Weidenbusch joined both the Junge Union (JU) and the CSU in 1979 . From 1989 to 1993 he was JU district chairman in the district of Munich , has been a member of the board of the CSU district association Munich Land since 1985 and was its chairman from 2003 to 2015. From 2006 to 2009 Ernst Weidenbusch was a member of the CSU policy committee.

He has been a member of the district council of the Munich district since 1990 . From 1996 to 2003 he was chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the Munich Land district council, and has been elected deputy to the district administrator since 2014. He is a member of the board of directors of Kreissparkasse München-Starnberg.

Weidenbusch has been a directly elected member of the Munich-Land-Nord electoral district of the Bavarian State Parliament since 2003 . He was directly re-elected in 2008, 2013 and 2018. From 2003 to 2008 he was a member of the committees for constitutional, legal and parliamentary issues as well as for universities, research and culture. From 2008 to 2013 he was chairman of the commission for parliamentary support in crisis management at BayernLB and a member of the parliamentary control committee and the G10 commission of the Bavarian state parliament. From 2013 to 2018 he was the Bavarian Prime Minister's Special Representative for BayernLB. From March 2018 to November 2018 he was the state government representative responsible for all participations of the Free State of Bavaria, e.g. B. BayernLB, Munich and Nuremberg Airports, the two exhibition companies or the Hofbräuhaus, but also Stadi-Bau and the Bavarian State Forests; he decided not to be reappointed and the position was not refilled. Weidenbusch remains on the Budget Committee, of which he has been a member since 2013.
