Erwin Aderhold

Erwin Robert Hermann Aderhold (born November 15, 1901 in Rixdorf near Berlin , † December 8, 1976 in Berlin-Kreuzberg ) was a German actor on stage and television.

Live and act

Aderhold received his training at the Max Reinhardt School in Berlin from 1921 to 1923 . In 1923 he was taken over by the Kammerspiele Berlin, where he made his debut with Hugenberg in Frank Wedekind's Die Büchse der Pandora . He then received engagements at stages in Frankfurt / Main (1924/25), Munich (1926-28), Hamburg (1934/35), Marburg (Festival of the years 1934 to 1939), Berlin (under Heinrich Georges Intendanz at the Schillertheater 1939 to 1942, then at other Berlin venues such as the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm and the Volksbühne ). In the late 1920s and early 1930s, Aderhold was an announcer at the Reichssender Berlin . Aderhold , who was married to actress Hedda Sarnow for the second time, appeared in front of the camera very late and relatively rarely. His last television role was also his best known: In 1970, he played the hero of Waterloo, Field Marshal Blücher, in a film about Gneisenau .
