Erwin Maier (businessman)
Erwin Otto Maier (born January 22, 1927 in Memmingen ; † September 7, 2016 ) was a German textile merchant.
Maier was a member of the regional association of Bavarian retailers from 1954 . From 1983 to 1995 he served as its president and then as honorary president. He was also Vice President of the German Trade Association , Chairman of the Bavarian Trade Education Center and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Trade Academy for 27 years. From 1986 to 1997 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
