Erwin Reusch
Erwin Reusch (born March 11, 1889 in Koblenz ; † 1936 ) was a German poster artist and commercial artist .
Reusch studied in Berlin at the arts and crafts school and at the Reimanns school . In the 1920s he lived and worked in Berlin. His best-known work is probably the election poster from 1932 "More power for the Reich President / Away with the sole rule of parliaments". In 1928, matching the catchphrase “ black shame ”, he created a propagandistic election poster for the DNVP for the Reichstag elections, which shows an African in a French uniform staring menacingly over a landscape of the Rhine.
