Erwin Stetter

Erwin Stetter (* 1915 in Kronach ; † November 9, 1989 in Amberg ) was a German general practitioner, medical professional politician and writer.

Life

As a scholarship holder of the Maximilianeum Foundation , Stetter studied medicine, philosophy and psychology in Bonn and Erlangen after military service with severe wounds (including loss of the left leg) during World War II. In 1951 he was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. Stetter worked as a general practitioner in Amberg for over 25 years . From 1958 he was a member of the board of directors of the Bavarian State Medical Association . In addition to his medical work, he was active as an author. He was a member of the Federal Association of German Writers and Doctors.
