Erwin Waihs
Erwin Waihs (born August 3, 1880 in Vienna , † July 5, 1959 in Aich am Attersee , Upper Austria ) was an Austrian politician of the Christian Social Party (CSP).
education and profession
After attending primary school , he went to the Schottengymnasium in Vienna. Then he began to study law , which he was able to finish in 1905 and received his doctorate . He became a judge and later the presiding council of the Vienna Higher Regional Court .

- November 5, 1918 to June 24, 1920: Undersecretary of State in the State Office for Army Affairs
- March 4, 1919 to November 9, 1920: Member of the Constituent National Assembly , CSP
- November 10, 1920 to October 1, 1930: Member of the National Council ( I , II and III legislative periods ), CSP
- December 2, 1930 to May 2, 1934: Member of the National Council ( IV legislative period ), CSP
Others
In 1935 Waihs was awarded the Grand Officer's Cross of the Order of the Crown of Romania . Erwin Waihs was serving a three-week political prison sentence ( remand ) in 1944.
