The Archdiocese of Utrecht ( Latin Archidioecesis Ultraiectensis , Dutch : Aartsbisdom Utrecht ) is the foundation of St. Willibrord the oldest old Catholic local church in the Netherlands.

Archbishop Vercammen

As the metropolitan seat of the Old Catholic Church of the Netherlands, the suffragan dioceses of Haarlem and Deventer are assigned to the Archdiocese of Utrecht, the diocese of Deventer is permanently vacant and the parishes are directly under the jurisdiction of the Archbishop of Utrecht.

The Archbishop of Utrecht is also officially President of the International Bishops' Conference of the Union of Utrecht .

The Utrecht cathedra was held by Archbishop Joris Vercammen until January 11, 2020 , the office of bishop is currently vacant. The cathedral chapter of Utrecht leads the archbishopric until a new bishop is elected. The Church of St. Gertrudis is the cathedral of the Archdiocese.
