Escuela Médico Militar

The Escuela Médico Militar , in German military medical college , is the medical college of the Mexican land and air forces founded in 1917 . It reports to the General Directorate for Military Training and Rectorate of the University of the Army and Air Force ( Spanish Dirección General de Educación Militar y Rectoría de la Universidad del Ejército y Fuerza Aérea ) in the Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA).

history

The college founded under the name Escuela Constitucionalista Médico Militar is considered to be the successor to the Escuela Práctica Médico-Militar , which was designed in 1880 by Francisco Montes de Oca y Saucedo at the San Lucas Military Hospital in Mexico City for the practical training of military doctors . Francisco Montes de Oca y Saucedo was also the first director of the Escuela Práctica Médico-Militar.

The concept for the Escuela Constitucionalista Médico Militar came from the pen of the general physicians Guadalupe Gracia García-Cumplido and Enrique Cornelio Osornio Martínez de los Ríos .
