Estación Rincón is a town in Uruguay .

geography

It is located in the area of the Departamento Treinta y Tres in the sector 3 in the Cuchilla Cerro Largo . The closest larger settlements are the cities of Vergara in the southwest and Arrozal Treinta y Tres in the southeast. The Arroyo Sarandí Grande leads south past Estación Rincón, whose economic base is rice cultivation. The Arroyo de la Teja , a right-hand tributary of the Río Tacuarí, runs north . To the east of the village is the source of the Arroyo Sarandí Chico .

Infrastructure

Ruta 18 and the Montevideo - Río Branco railway line with an AFE stop run through Estación Rincón .
