The Estadio Miguel Grau is a multifunctional stadium in Callao , Peru . It is located in the Bellavista district in the immediate vicinity of the national university and is named after the Peruvian admiral Miguel Grau . It is mainly used for soccer matches and is the home stadium of the first division Sport Boys , but also the clubs Club Deportivo Universidad de San Martín de Porres and Academia Deportiva Cantolao .
The stadium has a maximum capacity of 17,000 seats. It was inaugurated on June 16, 1996 with a game between the Sport Boys and Deportivo Wanka in the Torneo Descentralizado 1996 . The Sport Boys won 3-1. In 2003, floodlights were installed in the stadium.
