The Bellavista is a glaciated ridge that connects to the west of the Piz Palü and is separated from it by the Fuorcla Bellavista ( 3688  m ). The ridge runs in an east-west direction on the border between Italy and Switzerland and shows four peaks (from east to west: 3799  m , 3888  m , 3890  m , 3922  m ). The west end is the pass dal Zupò ( 3840  m ), which lies north of Piz Zupò .

The Bellavista can be crossed in both directions with moderate climbing. Often the glaciated Bellavista "terraces" are walked on, so there is no need to walk on the rock ridge if z. B. is traversed after crossing the Palü to the Marco-e-Rosa hut on Piz Bernina .

From the Bellavista, the Morteratsch Glacier runs north down into the valley. The south-facing glacier , known as Altipiano di Fellaria , forms a shallow basin in the upper area that extends almost to the peaks of the Bellavista.
