The Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte , also known by its old name Estadio Mario Mercado Vaca Guzmán , is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Bolivian city ​​of Potosí in the department of the same name . At an altitude of 3,960 m above sea ​​level , it is one of the highest stadiums in the world.

It is mostly used for soccer games, among others by the clubs Club Real Potosí and CA Nacional Potosi .

The capacity of the stadium is given as 30,000, 32,000 to 35,000.

Previous designations

The stadium was originally called Estadio San Clemente , but was renamed Estadio Mario Mercado Vaca Guzmán after its first modernization and the installation of new floodlights . After the last renovation, the stadium got its current name Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte .
