Estanislau de Figueiredo Pamplona , called Benedicto or Benedicto Zacconi , (born March 24, 1904 in Belém , Pará , † October 29, 1973 ibid) was a Brazilian national football player .
career
Benedicto started his career at the Clube do Remo in Belém. He soon moved to Fluminense FC in Rio de Janeiro . After only one year he went to Botafogo FR, which he remained loyal to until the end of his career.
His career in the national team began with the Campeonato Sudamericano in 1925 . Here he finished second with the team. He was also a member of the first World Cup team at the 1930 World Cup , but was not used during the tournament.
