Esteban Nicolás González Rojas (born September 16, 1978 in Córdoba ) is a former Argentine football player and today's coach.

The midfielder began his career at CA Belgrano . In 2001 he moved to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata . With the club he took part in the 2003 Copa Libertadores and was eliminated from the group stage despite losing just one game. In February 2004 he was tested positive in a doping control and banned for three months. In September 2004 he went to Lazio Rome in the Italian Serie A , where he was under contract for one season.

Then he played again for Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, with whom he reached the quarter-finals of the Copa Sudamericana 2006 . In 2007 González was with CA Colón before playing for the Spanish second division UD Las Palmas in the first half of 2008 . Then he went again, for the third time, to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. In 2010/11 he was under contract with CA Tigre and then moved to his old club Belgrano. With Belgrano he took part in the Copa Sudamericana 2013 , but was eliminated in the second round. In 2015 he ended his career.

Since June 2016 he has been the trainer of CA Belgrano .
