The Estrada de Ferro Vitória a Minas (EFVM) is a meter-gauge railway in Brazil operated by Ferrovia Centro Atlântica , a subsidiary of the mining company Vale SA .

The railway line was opened in 1904 to connect the iron ore mining area of Vale do Aço with the Atlantic ports in the state of Espírito Santo Porto de Tubarão in Vitória as well as Praia Mole and Barra do Riacho. It also opens up the capital of the state of Minas Gerais Belo Horizonte .
About 37% of all rail freight traffic in Brazil runs on this railway line. In addition to iron ore, steel, coal, limestone, granite, containers, pig iron, agricultural products, wood, pulp and fuel are transported on the railway line.
In addition to freight transport, the railway line is one of the few in Brazil with rail passenger transport. Every year, one million passengers travel the route with the passenger trains . Besides the Estrada de Ferro Carajás , it is also the only one in Brazil with long-distance passenger rail transport . Since 2014, passenger transport on this route has been carried out with a renewed vehicle fleet.
