Estrellita Castro
Estrellita Castro (born June 26, 1908 in Seville , † July 10, 1983 in Madrid , actually Estrella Castro Navarrete ) was a Spanish singer and actress .
After her first small film role in 1933, she entered the film business in 1935 with one of the leading roles in Rosario la cortijera . In Germany she made the film Suspiros de España in 1939 . As a singer, she was a well-known interpreter of the Copla andaluza , a form of song that enjoyed great popularity in Spain, especially in the 1940s. Carmen Sevilla was a member of her dance group.
