features
The moths reach a wingspan of 10 to 11 millimeters. The head is white, the vertex is strongly mixed with brown at the back. The antennae shine dark brown. In the basal half they are ringed whitish, in the last third there are five white rings. The thorax shines dark brown and is sparsely provided with white scales at the back. The drawing of the forewings resembles Eteobalea albiapicella , but the bands and lines are narrower. The white spot opposite the inner costal spot is on the inner edge of the wing. The hind wings shine gray. The abdomen is dark gray, the anus tuft is white.
The genital armature of the males differs from Eteobalea albiapicella by the slimmer valves and the more clearly developed cucullus, the long, gradually tapering right brachium and the longer and slimmer aedeagus .
The female genital fittings have not yet been described.
