Ettore Maria Fizzarotti

Ettore Maria Fizzarotti (born January 3, 1916 in Naples , † September 10, 1985 in Rome ) was an Italian film director .

Life

Fizzarotti, son of the director Armando , began working for his father in 1946 as an assistant director for film; He held this position in all of his father's subsequent films and until 1964 in a considerable number of other works, mostly modestly budgeted genre products of melodramas for the southern Italian market. In 1964 he began his work as a director, staging mainly musical comedies of the conventional kind, which rejected criticism, but were successful with the audience. Until 1972, when he retired, he only undertook occasional excursions into the western or crime genre .

Sometimes it is also abbreviated as Ettore M. Fizzarotti .
