Eudi Silva de Souza (born August 5, 1983 ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Career

The striker, also known as "Eudis", began his career at Athletico Paranaense , and for the 2003/04 season the Brazilian moved to Yverdon-Sport FC in the Challenge League . He stayed here for two seasons before moving to league rivals FC Lausanne-Sport . Shortly before the end of the national transfer period, in the summer of 2006, Eudis moved from Lausanne to the city club FC Zurich . In his first derby against arch-rivals Grasshopper Club Zurich , he scored a goal for FCZ's 1-0 victory.

Eudis signed a three-year contract with BSC Young Boys in the summer of 2008 and was given the number 9. The Brazilian Eudis was loaned to Servette FC Genève by the Bernese Young Boys in the Challenge League . The loan contract was valid until June 30, 2009. Eudis only moved to YB at the beginning of the season, but where he could not earn a regular place. After the loan period expired, Servette signed him permanently in July 2009, and the Geneva-based company secured an option to extend the contract for a further two years. In the 2010/11 season , Eudis contributed 15 league goals to Servette's promotion to the Axpo Super League .
