Eugen Härle

Eugen Härle (born December 13, 1911 in Abstatt ; † May 7, 2003 in Ilsfeld ) was a German local politician. From 1948 to 1974 he was mayor of the community of Ilsfeld and from 1954 to 1972 he was also mayor of the community of Schozach, which was then incorporated into Ilsfeld . On the occasion of his 65th birthday, he was made an honorary citizen of Ilsfeld in 1976 for his services .

biography

Härle came from Abstatt and was government chief inspector in 1948. In the first statutory mayor election after the Second World War in Ilsfeld, where the mayor's office had been headed by Deputy Mayor Gottlob Frank since 1947, he received the necessary majority of ten applicants in 1948. From 1954 he took over (as already 1939-1946 one of his predecessors, Hugo Heinrich) as Community mayor and the mayor of Schozach, which was incorporated during Haerle term in 1972 after Ilsfeld. Shortly after the incorporation of Auenstein , Härle retired in 1974. In December 1976, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, he was made an honorary citizen of the Ilsfeld community “for his services and the long and successful administration of the Ilsfeld and Schozach communities”. In 1985 he was one of the founders of the Ilsfeld Heimatverein, and he has also made numerous contributions to the history of the homeland.
