Eugen Heinen

Eugen Heinen (* 1901 ; † July 25, 1981 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German homeland researcher .

Life

Heinen lived in Altenberg since 1925 . In 1931 he was appointed full-time guide of the Altenberg Cathedral by President General Carl Mosterts . He campaigned for the pristine nature of the cathedral and the surrounding landscape and suggested the construction of today's bypass . He was the founder of the Traffic and Beautification Association .
