Eugen Schatz (born July 1, 1872 in Johanns-Rohrbach , Forbach district , † after 1918) was a doctor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schatz attended elementary school in Johanns-Rohrbach, the Bitsch and Montigny high schools and the universities of Bonn and Munich . During his studies he joined the Catholic student association WKSt.V. Unitas-Salia at. In 1898 he completed his doctorate. From 1900 he was a doctor and from 1900 to 1902 assistant doctor in the Royal Bavarian 23rd Infantry Regiment (Saargemünd) and then senior physician in the Landwehr in the Royal Bavarian 5th Chev. Regiment (Saargemünd). He was the holder of the Medal of Honor and the Royal Bavarian Luitpold Medal .

Schatz belonged to the Alsace-Lorraine Center Party . From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Alsace-Lorraine 12 ( Saargemünd , Forbach ). In the Reichstag he belonged to the Alsace-Lorraine faction.
