Eugen Taucher (born September 9, 1863 in Bergham near Nittenau , † April 27, 1933 in Amberg ) was a German politician ( center , BVP ).

Life and work

After graduation in the high school in Regensburg in 1883 studied divers to 1887 at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Law . During his studies he joined the Corps Macaria Munich . After receiving his doctorate in law in Heidelberg in 1889 , Taucher settled down as a lawyer at the Amberg district court in 1891 . In 1910 he was appointed to the judiciary .

Political party

Taucher belonged to the Bavarian State Association of the Center Party , which became independent on February 9, 1920 as the Bavarian People's Party . There he was chairman of the local group Amberg -Stadt und -Land.

MP

Taucher had been a city councilor in Amberg since 1913 and chairman of the local council . He was a member of the Weimar National Assembly from 1919 until his resignation on February 1, 1920.
