Euphorbia cremersii is a species of the genus spurge ( Euphorbia ) in the family of Euphorbiaceae (Euphorbiaceae).
description
The succulent Euphorbia cremersii grows as a geophyte from a spherical root that is up to 5 centimeters in diameter. From this root a short trunk develops with several branches that are located near the surface of the soil. The branches are up to 10 centimeters long and about 1 centimeter in diameter and have leaf scars . The lanceolate leaves are in terminal rosettes and are up to 8 inches long and 3 inches wide. The base of the leaf is roughly heart-shaped, the upper side is colored cloudy green and has spots. The underside of the leaf is reddish and the curled edges are colored red. The petiole is 1 centimeter long and the bristly and short-lived stipules 3 millimeters long.
Nearly terminal, nodding cymes are formed, which are bifurcated once or twice. The inflorescence stalks are about 2 inches long. The rounded cyathophylls are up to 7 millimeters long and 13 millimeters wide. They are light brown in color, overlap each other and cover the approximately 4 millimeter large cyathium without enveloping it. The nectar glands are colored light yellow. The bluntly lobed fruit stands on a short stem and is 2 millimeters in size. Nothing is known about the seed.

- Euphorbia cremersii var cremersii
- Euphorbia cremersii var. Rakotozafyi (Cremers) Rauh ; In contrast to the stem species, the shoots are up to 20 centimeters longer, the leaves are elliptical and tapered towards the petiole at the base; the plants are known only from culture; a synonym for the variety is Euphorbia francoisii var. rakotozafyi Cremers (1984)
