The succulent Euphorbia dahana grows as a sparsely branched shrub up to a height of 1 meter. Fibrous roots are formed and the main shoots occasionally climb. The square branches are up to 1 centimeter thick and have clear spots. On the edges of the branches there are protruding teeth at a distance of 2 centimeters from each other. The dark brown and elongated thorn shields are up to 15 millimeters in size and stand individually, in exceptional cases they can touch. Thorns up to 15 millimeters and secondary leaf thorns up to 5 millimeters in length are formed.

The single and simple cymes stand on stems about 2.5 millimeters long. The cyathia reach 5.5 millimeters in diameter. The elongated nectar glands are colored yellow and touch each other. Nothing is known about the fruits and seeds.
