Business areas
Eurobus company operates from Eastern Slovakia , both international and domestic Slovakian long-distance bus routes . The network extends to Paris and Ulm . The route to Ulm is released for domestic long-distance bus traffic.
In addition, local city traffic is operated in Spišská Nová Ves and Rožňava . Regional Eurobus lines operate in the Spiš , Gemer and Košice regions .
history
Until 1952, bus transport in Czechoslovakia was operated by the state-owned ČSAD . The main branch in Bratislava was responsible for the territory of Eastern Slovakia . In 1960 ČSAD was divided into regional companies. The ČSAD Košice emerged from the branches of the former Košice and Prešov regions . In 1993 private transport was transferred to ČSAD, SAD š.p. (š.p. for štátny podnik ) split off. In 2001 the company was privatized and renamed Eurobus as (as for akciová spoločnosť ) on April 16, 2007 .
