Bükkszék is a Hungarian community in the county Pétervására in Heves county .
Geographical location
Bükkszék is located at the foot of the Mátra Mountains and the Bükk Mountains , 20 km from Eger .
history
The place was already known in the Middle Ages and was mentioned in a document with the name Sceek in 1275 .
Bükkszék Spa
Bükkszék is a village in a relatively unspoilt area in the western part of the Bükk Mountains, which was built on the Salvus medicinal water. In 1937 they searched for oil in the village and found Salvus healing water. The spa and thermal bath, renovated and expanded in 2012, has the longest slide in the country and is disinfected without chlorine.
