The EuromedClinic was a German private clinic based in Fürth (Middle Franconia) for those with private insurance, benefit recipients and self-payers specializing in ophthalmology and psychosomatic medicine. In 2013 it was taken over by the Schön Klinik and has been part of this clinic group ever since.
The sister clinic Euromed General Hospital on the same site was available to all patients, including those with statutory health insurance, with the subjects orthopedics / trauma surgery, surgery and urology. This concept is also retained as the Schoen Clinic. There are also private specialist practices with over 40 different disciplines on the clinic premises.
Awards
The Clinic Award 2009 for the best website was given to EuromedClinic.
The concept of the clinic and the exemplary implementation of "integrated patient care" was awarded the Bavarian Innovation Prize in 1998.
The founders of EuromedClinic were named Entrepreneur of the Year in the service sector in 1997 (Ernst & Young award).
In January 2013 the clinic was taken over by Schön Kliniken .
architecture
The buildings on Europa-Allee 1 can already be seen in front of the southwest bypass . The pyramid in particular is easy to see from afar and is one of Fürth's most striking buildings. The pyramid is home to an independent 4-star business and congress hotel that is independent of the EuromedClinic. This was reopened in January 2018 after renovation.
