European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention (EJEEP) is an English-language journal with peer review with a focus on macroeconomics , institutional economics and economic policy .

The EJEEP was first published in 2004 under the title Intervention. Journal of Economics published in 2008 as an intervention. European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies reissued and published twice a year. Since 2013 it has been published under the current title three times a year by Edward Elgar Publishing . Current editors are Stefan Ederer , Eckhard Hein , Marc Lavoie , Torsten Niechoj , Achim Truger and Till van Treeck .

With the magazine, the editors want to promote pluralism in economics. They emphasize the importance of institutional and social factors that shape economic life and take the position that only a careful examination of them can lead to theoretical knowledge and adequate economic policy recommendations.
