The European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics , abbreviated Eur. J. Pharm. Biopharm. , is a scientific journal published by Elsevier-Verlag. The journal is an official publication organ of the Working Group for Pharmaceutical Process Engineering (International Association of Pharmaceutical Technology, APV) and is currently published nine times a year. It was founded in 1955 under the name "Information Service APV". In 1974 the name was changed to "Acta pharmaceutica technologica" and in 1991 the name was changed to the current name. Works from the fields of pharmaceutical technology and biopharmacy are published. The current editor-in-chief is Achim Göpferich, Regensburg.

The impact factor in 2017 was 4.491. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge , the journal with this impact factor ranks 28th out of 261 journals in the pharmacology and pharmacy category.
