European chemical Substances Information System
The European chemical Substances Information System ( ESIS ) was to autumn 2012, the Chemical Information System of the European Chemicals Bureau (Engl. European Chemicals Bureau, ECB).
It contains the following directories and lists:
- European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances (EINECS), the Altstoff directory
- European List of Notified Chemical Substances (Elincs), the new substance directory
- No-longer-polymers-list (NLP-list)
- biocidal active substances included in the biocidal products Directive (Engl. Biocidal Products Directive , BPD are included) 98/8 / EC, Annexes I and IA,
- Substances classified as persistent, bioaccumulating and toxic ( PBT ) or very persistent and very bioaccumulating ( vPvB )
- The classification and labeling ( C&L ) of substances and preparations according to CLP (formerly Directive 67/548 / EEC or 1999/45 / EC) (no deep links are possible to this database; ESIS refers to ECHA for this) )
- dangerous substances that are regulated in the Export and Import Regulation 304/2003 / EC, Appendix I.
- Substances produced in large ( High Production Volume Chemicals , HPVCs ) and small quantities ( Low Production Volume Chemicals , LPVCs ), including a list of manufacturers and importers within the EU
- International Uniform Chemical Information Database (IUCLID)
- Priority lists, information on the status of risk assessments
