Eurotours International is an Austrian tourism company based in Kitzbühel / Tyrol .
It is 100 percent owned by Österreichisches Verkehrsbüro Aktiengesellschaft , the largest and oldest Austrian tourism group , and is the largest incoming agency in Central Europe and one of the largest direct tour operators in Central Europe .
history
Eurotours was founded in 1980 by Hans-Dieter Toth. By 1998 Toth had built the company into Austria's largest incoming company. The first tourist advantage card, family packages or the implementation of the all-inclusive idea in the small-scale holiday hotel industry in the Alps are developments of the company.
With 350 employees, Eurotours markets the tourist offers in Austria and its neighboring countries worldwide and covers all forms of organized travel: from individual trips in holiday regions and in the city area to group trips , incentives and conventions .
Eurotours cooperates with 4,000 service providers and more than 1,200 tour operators from 64 countries.
In 2014 the number of passengers increased to almost 1.3 million. In the same period, sales increased to EUR 260 million.
