Eva Kreienkamp

Eva Kreienkamp (born August 10, 1962 ) is a German manager and businesswoman. Kreienkamp has held the position of co-managing director of the Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft since 2015. Kreienkamp is the designated chairwoman of the board of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe , she is to succeed Sigrid Nikutta on October 1st, 2020 .

Life

Eva Kreienkamp spent part of her school days in an Ursuline boarding school in Belgium, and she passed her Abitur in Düsseldorf. From 1982 to 1989 Kreienkamp studied mathematics at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . The qualified mathematician began her career in 1989 at the start-up Amadeus Data Process in Erding as a trainee in a data center. From 1991 she worked for ten years in the management of Allianz Versicherung , most recently in the position of Senior Vice President. She then worked for Berlinwasser Holding AG and Berlikomm Telekommunikationsgesellschaft from 2002 to 2003. In 2001 Kreienkamp founded FrischCo., A gender and diversity marketing and market research company, together with her wife and another partner.

In 2009, Kreienkamp switched to the transport sector and first took over the financial management, then the management of the private rail company Hamburg-Köln-Express (HKX) / RDC Deutschland GmbH. In 2014, both sides separated amicably, after a break, she switched to the Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft . Among other things, she was responsible for the “Mainz Mobility 2030” traffic concept. As co-managing director, she was also responsible for the areas of drivers, commercial functions, digitization and infrastructure projects. At the same time she was also the managing director of CityBahn GmbH for the construction of a tram line between Mainz and Wiesbaden.

In April 2020, the Berlin Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, Ramona Pop , announced that Kreienkamp would succeed the CEO of Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe , Sigrid Nikutta , who left in 2019 .

Kreienkamp got involved with Allianz in the 1990s for more diversity in the company, and in 1995 she founded an LGBT network there. She is also co-founder of the Wirtschaftsweiber network and the FidAR association - women on supervisory boards . In 2006 Kreienkamp organized the “1. International Gender Marketing Congress ".

In 2019 she took first place in “Germany's Top 100 Out Executives”, a ranking for successful people in management who define themselves as lesbian, gay, trans, inter- or bisexual. It had already taken second place in 2018.
