In the World Trophy, the team from Czechoslovakia led ahead of the FRG and the team from Italy. The GDR team followed in 4th place. The teams from Austria and Switzerland each had a driver absence and were 9th and 10th respectively.

3rd day

The route on the third day of the journey led over 285.6 kilometers to the southeast. There was an altitude difference of 564 meters between the lowest and highest point.

In a night session, the jury dealt with the objection of the team management of the Italian World Trophy team: On the first day of the journey, Gianluigi Petrogalli had used "foreign tools". Initially, this was punished with 300 points, against which the team management had lodged an objection. However, since it was now possible to prove to him that this had happened at a time control, this was classified as "outside help" according to the rules. This meant the exclusion of Petrogalli. As a result, all the other drivers of the Italian team appeared at the start, but demonstratively failed to complete the start test and thus ended the event for themselves and the team.

In the World Trophy the following picture emerged: The team from Czechoslovakia led ahead of the FRG and the team from the GDR. The Austrian team was in 8th place. The Swiss team finished 11th.

In the silver vase evaluation, the team from Germany was ahead of Italy and the team from Czechoslovakia. The GDR team came in 5th, Switzerland and Austria 9th and 12th respectively.

The route on the fifth day was 284.1 kilometers long, had an absolute difference in altitude of 794.4 meters and included the most demanding sections of the routes on the first and third days. The whole day there was heavy rain that softened the track surface.

In the World Trophy, the Czechoslovak team continued to lead ahead of the GDR and the FRG team. The teams from Austria and Switzerland were in 8th and 11th place respectively.

6th day

On the last day, 108.3 kilometers were driven in the opposite direction on part of the route of the fifth day. The track surface was still very soft from the day before. The weather remained free of precipitation.

The final motocross as the last special test was carried out on a mountain slope above Považská Bystrica. The rules stipulated: the drivers in the 50 and 75 cm³ classes had to complete four laps of 3.1 kilometers each within 25 minutes, all other classes five laps within 28 minutes. For a subsequent lap, the best-time driver determined the no-stop time for each run and all further laps were scored accordingly with difference points.
