15. International six-day trip
The 15th International Six-Day Ride was an off-road motorcycle competition held in Llandrindod Wells , Welsh from September 18 to 23, 1933 . The national team of the German Reich was able to win the trophy for the first time. The silver vase won the British national team for the seventh and second time in a row.

After the British team had won the trophy last year, the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) received the right to host the competition in their own country.
142 drivers, including three women, from eight FICM motorsport associations were registered for the competition . Teams from four nations competed for the trophy. In addition, eleven silver vase, 21 factory and 20 club teams were at the start.
1 day
140 of the 142 registered drivers took up the competition.
On the first day of the journey, the 294.5 kilometer route led to Carmathen . Time controls were at Devils Bridge, Mountain Cottage Inn, Natgaredig , Cilycown, and Cradoc . The roads were sodden with rain and difficult to drive.
In the Trophy ranking, the British and German teams were tied without penalty points. The Czechoslovak driver Jaroslav Kaiser crashed his sidecar motorcycle. This was so damaged that he had to give up the competition. From then on there were 100 penalty points daily. Aldo Pigorini was eliminated from the Italian team .
In the silver vase classification, all teams except for the Dutch and Italian A-teams, which each had a driver absence, were on par with no penalty points.
Of the 140 drivers who started, 127 reached the daily goal, 115 of them without penalty points.
2 day
On the second day of the competition, the drivers had to cover 314 kilometers. The route led through Hoy, Crickhowell , Pendrdyn , Pont-ar-Llechan and Cradoc.
In the Italian trophy team, Giordano Aldrighetti was the second driver to retire . This meant that only the British and German trophy teams were complete and free of penalty points.
In the silver vase rating, Great Britain (A), Germany (A), Ireland (A), Italy (B) and the Czechoslovak team were still free of penalty points.
15 drivers dropped out of the competition.
3rd day
On the third day, the previous day's stage was driven in the opposite direction. The greatest challenge was the ascent from Dinas Rock .
The German Trophy driver Ernst Jakob Henne received one penalty points and the British driver George Rowley two penalty points due to tire defects. Thus, in the trophy standings, the German team led the United Kingdom by one penalty point.
In the silver vase rating, the British, Irish and German A teams were tied without penalty points.
16 drivers dropped out of the competition.
4th day
The fourth day's route was 308 kilometers long and led back to the starting point via Llanidloes , Dinas Hawdowy , Dinas Mawddwy and Llangollen .
The German team continued to lead the British team in the trophy standings. Behind were Czechoslovakia and Italy.
In the silver vase rating, the British, Irish and German A teams were still tied without any penalty points.
Six drivers dropped out of the competition.
5th day
The distance on the fifth day corresponded to that of the fourth day. However, the direction of travel was the opposite.
In the Trophy ranking there was no change in the placements compared to the previous day.
In the silver vase evaluation, R. McGregor received one penalty point, after which the British, Irish and German A-teams were still free of penalty points.
Two drivers dropped out of the competition.
6th day
The final race took place in rainy weather at Donington Park race track . Of 140 drivers who started on the first day, 88 made it to the finish.

The British Marjorie Cottle was the only one of the three women who started and won a silver medal in her class (250 cm³).
