67th international six-day trip

The 67th international six-day race was the team world championship in enduro sport and took place from 25 to 30 August 1992 in Cessnock, Australia, and the surrounding area. The Italian national team won the World Trophy for the eighth time. The Swedish national team won the Junior World Trophy for the second time.

The event took place in Australia for the first time in its history.

375 drivers from 19 FIM motorsport associations were registered for the competition .

Teams from 15 and ten nations competed for the World and Junior World Trophy. In addition, 23 factory and 62 club teams were at the start.

Germany took part in the World and Junior World Trophy and with three club teams. Austria and Switzerland took part in the World Trophy.

1 day

In the World Trophy, Italy led ahead of Sweden and Czechoslovakia. The teams from Switzerland and Austria were 9th and 10th respectively. Stefan Bernhardt was eliminated on the first day of the German team. For the team, this meant 15,000 points a day and, for the time being, 15th and last place.

At the Junior World Trophy, the team from Sweden was ahead of the team from Italy and the team from Czechoslovakia. Also on the first day, Jörg Elblinghaus was eliminated from the German team, from now on the team had 15,000 points every day and the provisional 10th and last place.

The club ranking was led by the MC Trial David ahead of Slovakia EPT and Fiamme Oro-Italy. The best German club team was the ADAC Frankfurt team in 9th place.

Eight drivers dropped out of the competition.

2 day

In the World Trophy, Italy led ahead of Sweden and Czechoslovakia. The teams from Austria and Switzerland were in 8th and 10th place respectively. The German team was still in last place.

At the Junior World Trophy, the team from Sweden led ahead of the team from Czechoslovakia and the team from Australia. The German team was still in last place.

Like the day before, the MC Trial David led the club ranking ahead of Slovakia EPT and Fiamme Oro-Italy. The best German club team was the ADAC Frankfurt team in 12th place.

14 drivers dropped out of the competition.

3rd day

In the World Trophy, the team from Sweden was ahead of Italy and the team from Czechoslovakia. The Austrian team improved to 6th place, Switzerland was unchanged in 10th place. The German team improved to 13th place.

At the Junior World Trophy, the team from Sweden continued to lead ahead of the team from Czechoslovakia and the team from Australia. The German team was still in last place.

Slovakia EPT led the club ranking ahead of Fiamme Oro-Italy and Hawkesbury 2. The best German club team was the ADAC Nürnberg team in 12th place.

28 drivers dropped out of the competition.

4th day

In the World Trophy, the Swedish team led the Spanish team ahead of Italy. The Austrian team was unchanged in 6th place, Switzerland improved to 8th place. The German team was unchanged in 13th place.

At the Junior World Trophy, the team from Sweden led ahead of the team from Czechoslovakia and the team from the USA. The German team improved to 9th place.

Fiamme Oro-Italy led the club ranking ahead of Hawkesbury 2 and Ostra MCF. The best German club team was the ADAC Nürnberg team in 8th place.

52 drivers dropped out of the competition.

5th day

In the World Trophy, Sweden continued to lead Italy ahead of Spain. The teams from Austria and Switzerland were unchanged in 6th and 8th place respectively. The German team, Karl-Heinz Holz, had its second driver failure. The team was still in 13th place.

At the Junior World Trophy, the team from Sweden also continued to lead ahead of the team from Czechoslovakia and the USA team. The German team was unchanged in 9th place.

Hawkesbury 2 led the club standings ahead of Ostra MCF and Wales A. The best German club team was the ADAC Nürnberg team in 7th place.

Six drivers dropped out of the competition.

6th day

Of 375 riders who started on the first day, 267 reached the finish.
