94th international six-day trip

The 94th international six-day race was the team world championship in enduro sport and took place from 11 to 16 November 2019 in Portimão, Portugal, and the Algarve . The US national team won the World Trophy for the second time. The national team of Australia won the Junior World Trophy for the third time. The Women's World Trophy won the US national team for the second time.

The event was held in Portugal for the third time after the 74th (1999) and 84th International Six-Day Races (2009) had already been awarded to the country.

The paddock and the parc fermé were located on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve .

17 teams for the World Trophy, 14 for the Junior Trophy, nine for the Women's Trophy and 124 club teams from a total of 32 nations took part in the competition.

Germany took part in the World Trophy, Junior Trophy, Women's Trophy and nine club teams. In addition, a mixed-national Portuguese-German club team was at the start. Switzerland took part in the World Trophy as well as with a club team. In addition, a mixed national Spanish-Swiss club team took part. Drivers from Austria did not start.

For the fourth time since 2016, the Vintage Trophy was held in parallel (November 13-16 ) . Drivers were able to participate in five classes with motorcycles built up to 1986. The national teams did not have to be named. The condition for participation was three drivers from three different classes (except EVO 86). The three fastest drivers in each country were automatically classified as a team. The Vintage Veterans Trophy within this competition was new this year . Three drivers from each country were named who were at least 50 years old and started in two different classes (except EVO 86).

1 day

The stage of the first day of driving was a circuit to be driven twice over a total of 279 kilometers. Seven special stages had to be run in the course of this.

After the first day of driving, the team from Australia led the USA and Italy in the World Trophy standings. The German team was 8th, the Swiss team 14th.

In the Junior World Trophy classification, the Australian team led ahead of the USA and France. In the German team, Mike Kunzelmann was eliminated from the classification after exceeding the time due to a technical defect in his motorcycle. For the team this meant the 14th and last place.

In the Women's World Trophy, the German team led the teams from the USA and Australia.

XC GEAR led the club ranking ahead of TEAM LOZERE AMV 4 and AMA District 37. The best German club team was the DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg team in 24th place. The Swiss team O'BIGODE was in 54th place.

2 day

The route on the second day of driving was the same as the day before, including the special stages. For the club drivers, the stage was canceled in the second lap: On a driveway there was a dense crowd with over 100 drivers, which made it impossible to continue.

As on the previous day, the team from Australia led the World Trophy ranking ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team was still in 8th place, the Swiss team slipped to 15th place.

In the Junior World Trophy classification, the Australian team led ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team was still in 14th place.

In the Women's World Trophy, the USA team led the teams from Germany and Australia.

XC GEAR led the club ranking ahead of TEAM LOZERE AMV 4 and TEAM ITALY. The DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg team improved to 22nd place. The Swiss team O'BIGODE improved to 50th place.

3rd day

The third day's stage led to the north of Portimão. A total of 266 kilometers and seven special stages had to be completed in two identical laps. The night before it had rained heavily, after the start the day remained free of precipitation.

In the World Trophy classification, the team from the USA led ahead of Australia and Italy. The German team improved to 7th, the Swiss team to 14th place.

The Australian team continued to lead the Junior World Trophy, ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team was unchanged in 14th place.

In the Women's World Trophy, the team from the USA led the teams from Australia and Great Britain. The German team slipped to 5th place.

As on the day before, the club ranking led by XC GEAR ahead of TEAM LOZERE AMV 4 and TEAM ITALY. The DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg team improved to 19th place. The Swiss team O'BIGODE fell back to 84th place after the loss of Damian Udry.

On the third day, the technical inspection of the motorcycles for the Vintage Trophy took place. The competition started the following day.

4th day

On the fourth day the same route as the day before was driven. The weather was rainy.

At the end of the fourth day of driving, the team from the USA continued to lead ahead of Australia and Italy in the World Trophy classification. The German team was unchanged in 7th place, the Swiss team improved to 13th place.

In the Junior World Trophy classification, the Australian team continued to lead ahead of the USA and Italy. With Jan Allers, the German team had to record the second driver absence: He could not fix the electrical defect on his machine within the time and was eliminated. the team was unchanged in 14th place.

In the Women's World Trophy, the US team was ahead of the UK and Germany teams.

XC GEAR led the club ranking ahead of TEAM LOZERE AMV 4 and TEAM CLUB RFME 1. The DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg team remained in 19th place. The Swiss team O'BIGODE improved to 81st place.

The Vintage Trophy started on the fourth day. The day's stage was canceled due to the heavy rain.

5th day

The fifth stage of the day led again in two identical laps over a total of 283.8 kilometers and also included special stages.

The intermediate results after the fifth day of driving: In the World Trophy classification, the team from the USA continued to lead ahead of Australia and Italy. The German team remained unchanged in 7th place, the Swiss team improved to 12th place.

In the Junior World Trophy, the Australian team continued to lead ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team remained unchanged in 14th place.

In the Women's World Trophy, the USA team led the teams from Germany and Great Britain.

As on the day before the XC GEAR, the club ranking was ahead of TEAM LOZERE AMV 4 and TEAM CLUB RFME 1. The DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg team improved to 16th place. The Swiss team O'BIGODE improved to 50th place.

6th day

No stage was driven on the last day. The final race was a motocross test with short asphalt sections and took place on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
