19. International six-day trip
The 19th International Six-Day Ride was an off-road motorcycle competition held in Llandrindod Wells , Welsh from July 12-17 , 1937 . The national team of Great Britain was able to win the trophy for the tenth and second time in a row. The silver vase won the Netherlands national team for the second time.

After the British team had won the trophy last year, the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) received the right to host the competition in their own country. The event took place in Llandrindod Wells for the second time, after the 15th International Six Day Voyage (1933) had taken place here.
220 drivers from ten FICM motorsport associations were registered for the competition . Teams from three nations competed for the trophy. There were also ten silver vase and 24 factory teams at the start.
1 day
Of the 220 registered drivers, 213 took up the competition.
There was heavy rainfall until noon. On the first day of the journey, the 407-kilometer route led east via Walton and then further north and back to the starting point. Eleven time controls were set up along the route.
In the Trophy ranking, the teams from Great Britain, the German Reich and Czechoslovakia were tied without penalty points.
In the silver vase evaluation, the teams from the Netherlands (A and B), the German Empire (A and B), Ireland (A and B), Great Britain (A and B) and Czechoslovakia were still without penalty points and were tied. H. Stroinigg was eliminated from the Austrian team, with 100 penalty points being recorded every day. In addition, W. V. Millenkovich received 13 penalty points.
Nine drivers dropped out of the competition.
2 day
On the second day of the competition, the drivers had to cover 408 kilometers. The route led over first in the opposite direction of the previous day to Bala and from there to the north and further to the west and finally back to Llandrindod Wells.
In the trophy rating, the teams from Great Britain, the German Reich and Czechoslovakia were still tied without any penalty points.
In the silver vase evaluation, all teams except Austria were still without penalty points and were therefore tied.
Nine drivers dropped out of the competition.
3rd day
On the third day, a route was first driven to the northwest to Capel Bangor, before the route led south and back to the starting point.
In the trophy standings, the teams from Great Britain, the German Reich and Czechoslovakia were still tied without any penalty points.
In the silver vase rating, the teams from the Netherlands (A), the German Empire (A and B), Ireland (A and B), Great Britain (A and B) and Czechoslovakia were still without penalty points and were tied.
Six drivers dropped out of the competition.
4th day
In the Trophy ranking, the teams from Great Britain and the German Reich were tied without penalty points. In the team of Czechoslovakia Antonín Vitvar was eliminated, which from then on resulted in 100 penalty points per day.
In the silver vase rating, the teams from the Netherlands (A), the German Empire (A and B), Ireland (A and B) and Great Britain (A and B) were still without penalty points and were tied.
Nine drivers dropped out of the competition.
5th day
In the trophy standings, the teams from Great Britain and the German Reich continued to have no penalty points and were tied, followed by Czechoslovakia with 200 penalty points.
In the silver vase evaluation, the teams from the Netherlands (A), the German Empire (A and B), Ireland (A) and Great Britain (B) were still without penalty points and were tied.
Eight drivers dropped out of the competition.
6th day
In the Trophy classification, the teams from Great Britain and the German Empire were still without penalty points and were tied, in the Silver Vase classification the teams from the Netherlands (A), the German Empire (A and B) and Ireland (A) were still without Penalty points. The winner in both competitions was determined by the time gained in the final speed test. This final race took place at Donington Park Racecourse.
The Austrian Trophy driver Millenkovich received 56 penalty points in the final race.
Three drivers dropped out of the competition. Of the 213 riders who started on the first day, 169 reached the finish.
