Rasa Vaitkevičiūtė

Rasa Vaitkevičiūtė (* 1985 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian environmental politician , Deputy Environment Minister of Lithuania .

Life

After graduation at the high school Rasa Vaitkevičiūtė completed the Bachelor and Master of Environmental Science and ecology at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas and 2013 doctorate about Paprastojo kadagio ( Juniperus communis L.) ekologijos ypatumai Lietuvoje in Agricultural Sciences ( Forest Science ) at the Aleksandro Stulginskio universitetas at Kaunas (scientific director Prof. Edvardas Riepšas and chairman of the defense council Prof. Darius Danusevičius ). She then taught at the ASU Forestry Faculty and worked in the Kanas department of a Lithuanian environmental agency. Since 2019, Rasa Vaitkevičiūtė has been Deputy Environment Minister , Kęstutis Mažeika’s deputy in the Skvernelis cabinet .

Rasa Vaitkevičiūtė is single and childless.
